Children's Dentistry

At Berardi Dentistry, we welcome patients of all ages but our fastest growing patient group is children. We care for many families at our office and parents find it very convenient to bring their children with them for quality dental care. Children require special treatment and have dental needs that are unique and different from adults. We believe that children can have fun at the dentist and, at the same time, develop a positive dental attitude. A positive dental experience as a child sets the stage for a lifetime of excellent dental health.

At Berardi Dentistry, we see patients who are as young as pre-school age. We are able to help your child take care of their baby teeth and guide them through the ‘tooth fairy’ ages and into their teens. We take pride in watching our younger patients mature into young adults with little or no dental problems.

We are able to provide dental services for our pediatric patients that reduce the incidence of cavities. These services include sealants that are made of composite material used to seal the decay-prone grooves of back teeth. Sealants are used to stop your child from getting cavities. We also believe it is important for children to have fluoride treatments. These treatments consist of a fluoridated gel or foam that is applied directly to the teeth and used to prevent dental decay by strengthening enamel.
