Whitening

Tooth whitening procedures, which lighten discolorations of enamel and dentin, have become very popular because of their high success rate and ease of use.  Once your teeth are cleaned and examined, they can be whitened through the use of a professionally supervised at-home system.  This system uses a solution of carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide that is worn in a custom-fitted tray.  This tray is worn for a few hours for 7-14 consecutive days. Your teeth will become amazingly whiter and your smile, brighter.  We also offer a one visit, in-office whitening treatment that is very exciting.  It is exactly what you see available for the makeover shows on television.  Within three hours we can whiten you teeth right before your eyes.  Amazing!!

Crowns

Crowns are placed over the entire tooth to provide strength and esthetic enhancement.  Teeth that have very large fillgs or have undergone root canal therapy are in a weakened state.  These teeth need the benefits of a crown in order to prevent potentially damaging fractures from occurring.  Crowns are made in porcelain and are matched to the same shade as the rest of your teeth.

Bridges

These restorations are made of porcelain and help replace missing teeth.  The bridge abutments are placed over teeth found on both sides of the toothless space.  The bridge then spans the site of the missing tooth making them a terrific way to return your bite and smile to its original form.

Invisalign

We are proud to have treated Invisalign patients throughout Buffalo, Amherst, Williamsville, and the entire Western New York area.  Invisalign uses a series of nearly invisible aligners, instead of wires and brackets, to straighten your teeth.  Through the revolutionary use of aligners it is much easier to keep your teeth and gums clean and healthy during treatment.  Best of all, your family and friends will be unable to detect your aligners.  We are one of the few dental practices in this area to bring you this new and exciting procedure.  If you would like to find out more about invisalign, check out:  www.invisalign.com.

Root Canals

A root canal, or endodontic therapy, is used to save a tooth from its diseased nerve.  The tooth is anesthetized and an opening into the root canal is made through the top of the tooth.  The diseased tissue is removed and the canal is cleaned, widened, and filled. A crown is then normally placed over the tooth giving it a second chance.

Implants

Implants are a very reliable way to replace missing teeth.  Traditionally, the body of the implant is surgically placed in the bone.  Once the implant integrates within the bone (usually taking about 10 weeks), a porcelain crown can be placed into the implant giving you a new tooth.

We also accept patients with many other insurance plans.  If we are not a direct participant in your plan we will still submit your claim and accept recepit of payment. You will be responsible for any uncovered treatment as well as your copay.
